A shoot with model SophieStorm
Sophie and I have been shooting together for 8+ years she has been away travelling so it was a pleasure to be asked to provide fresh images for her social media feed where on Instagram or Facebook she has over 42,000 followers. Sophie always looks amazing and it's a pleasure to shoot with her.
Cameras used for the studio shots my Hasselblad X1D with a 90mm lens
Lighting for the dark background shots was one large Octabox as key light a rectangular softbox as fill and two rectangular softboxes at the rear to provide edge lighting.
The images with the white background were a single bare bulb light high and slightly left of camera to give a simulated sun effect.
The other ambient light images were shot with a Nikon Zf and a Sirui Aurora 85mm lens at f/1.4
A shoot with model Evie
A new-to-me-model Evie - we shot at The Art Asylum Studio in Weymouth and tried a number of different styles - although Evie was relatively new to modelling her creativity shone through.
All shot with my Hasselblad X1D and a 90mm lens.
Lighting was my standard set-up to start followed by gels, single light (simulated sun) close up softbox for moody portraits and window light portrait.
